Skinny Traveler’s Guide to Visiting Danzante Bay in Loreto Mexico
The Final Decision to Commit to this Hike
As I sat a week ago and considered what truly lit me up, I chose I expected to cause this Cactus to Clouds climb to occur in 2019. Cool. Presently what? All things considered, there is a great deal to consider…
When do I Hike Cactus To Clouds?
Since the climate is so peculiar (desert-murder you high temps at base up to 10 inches or more snow on the summit), you should climb in pre-summer or the Fall. Since I'm energized and prepared to get moving, I chose late April would likely be a smart thought.
Who do I Hike Cactus to Clouds with?
This isn't something I can or need to do alone. I need in any event one ride or pass on climbing mate. The primary that rung a bell was my dear buddy Jenny from Seattle. Not just on the grounds that we found the trail together in 2017, but since she was my first EVER climbing pal in the Summer of 1997. At the child age of 21, we toured the countryside to the Grand Canyon on a young ladies climbing/outdoors experience. And furthermore on the grounds that she's a physically fit, boss and I adore her deeply and back. Furthermore, she's a specialist now, with the goal that makes a difference.
What's more, it turns out she was the correct one to inquire! I shot off my solicitation in a content after not asylum represented a couple of months. She composed back in minutes. We picked a date and she booked a flight that night!
My first climbing trek ever with Jenny… we were 21 years of age!

What Will the Trip Resemble?
We'll be driving out to Palm Springs on a Saturday evening in late April. We'll begin the climb in obscurity and achieve the summit early afternoon. We'll climb down to the cable car station and cheers with a brew at Sunset. At that point, we bring the cable car down to Palm Springs, have supper at a pleasant eatery and rest. The following day, we will lay by the pool throughout the day. Possibly spring for a spa treatment or two. How great does that sound? I can hardly wait!
